We're excited to announce the launch of Recurring Tasks, a powerful new feature designed to streamline how you manage routine care activities. Whether it's morning medications, weekly grocery runs, or monthly supply orders, when you complete a recurring task, the next one shows up automatically—saving you time and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks."

What's New

Create Tasks That Repeat Automatically

Set any task to recur on your preferred schedule:

  • Daily – Perfect for medications, exercises, or daily care routines

  • Weekly – Ideal for meal prep, grocery runs, or weekly health checks

  • Monthly – Great for supply reorders, monthly reports, or care plan reviews

Look for the 🔁 icon to quickly see recurring tasks in your list.

Streamlined Task Display

  • One at a time: Only the current instance is visible, keeping your task list clean and focused

  • Automatic generation: Complete today's task, and tomorrow's appears instantly

New Task Actions

Skip When Needed
Life happens. Track that something didn't happen with skip.

  • Select "Skip" from the task menu (⋮)

  • The task shows as skipped with strikethrough text

  • The next occurrence generates immediately

  • Changed your mind? Simply "Undo Skip"

End a Recurring Series
When a recurring task is no longer needed:

  • Choose "Complete Forever" from the task menu

  • The series ends permanently

  • No future tasks will be created

  • Need it back? Just uncheck the task to restart the series

Flexible Editing

Update any recurring task and changes apply to all future occurrences:

  • Modify descriptions, details, or timing

  • Change recurrence patterns on the fly

  • Convert to a one-time task when needed

  • Past completed tasks remain unchanged for accurate record-keeping

Quick Tips for Success

  1. Start simple – Begin with your most important daily routines, then expand from there

  2. Add specific times – Including times for medications and appointments helps maintain consistent schedules

  3. Use Skip strategically – Don't delete recurring tasks if you just need to skip once—use the Skip feature instead
