What's New

We've introduced a powerful tagging system that helps you organize and find care information faster. Add custom tags to notes, appointments, and tasks to create a personalized organizational structure that works for your unique caregiving needs.

Key Benefits

  • Better Organization – Create custom categories that match how you think about care

  • Quick Filtering – Find relevant information instantly during critical moments

  • Pattern Recognition – Identify trends like symptoms that occur together or recurring issues

How It Works

Adding Tags

When creating or editing any note, appointment, or task:

  1. Find the tags section near the bottom of the form

  2. Type your tag and press Enter to add it

  3. OR select from suggested tags OR reuse your previously created tags

  4. Add multiple tags to capture all relevant categories

Smart Tag Suggestions

The system helps you tag efficiently with:

  • Suggested Tags – Common caregiving categories like "Medical", "Medication", "Symptoms"

  • Your Tags – Previously used tags from your care map, sorted by frequency and recency

Finding Information with Tags

  • Visual Recognition – Each tag has a consistent color for easy scanning

  • Smart Display – See up to 3 tags in list views, all tags in detail views

  • Powerful Filtering – Click the filter icon to show only items with specific tags

Where You Can Use Tags

βœ… Notes – Track patterns in daily observations

βœ… Appointments – Categorize different types of visits

βœ… Tasks – Organize care responsibilities

Pro Tips

  • Be Consistent – Use the same tag spelling across items for best results

  • Keep It Simple – Short, descriptive tags work best (e.g., "doctor-visits", "medications")

  • Track Patterns – Use tags to identify recurring issues or trends over time

  • Team Alignment – Agree on common tags with other caregivers for better coordination

Technical Considerations

  • Tags are specific to each care recipient

  • Case-insensitive matching prevents duplicates ("Medical" and "medical" are treated as the same)

  • Works on all modern browsers, both mobile and desktop

  • Currently no limit on number of tags per item
