Introducing Caregiver Tasks

We're excited to introduce Tasks - a new feature to help you stay organized and on top of everything that needs to be done for your loved one's care.

What You Can Do Now

Create and Manage Tasks

  • Add tasks for anything you need to remember - medications, appointments to schedule, insurance calls, or daily care activities

  • Set due dates and times so nothing gets forgotten

  • Add notes and details to each task

  • Check off tasks when they're done

  • Edit or delete tasks anytime

Stay Organized

  • Drag and drop tasks to different days if plans change

  • Tasks with specific times (like "give medication at 2pm") appear in time order

  • Tasks without times appear at the end of each day

  • Group tasks by category: Take Action Today, Schedule These, or Ongoing Care

Never Miss Important Tasks

  • See all past incomplete tasks in a special "Needs Attention" section at the top of your Today view

  • Quickly reschedule all overdue tasks to:

    • Today

    • Tomorrow

    • This weekend

    • Next week

  • Original times stay the same when you reschedule (so "2pm medication" stays at 2pm on the new day)

Helpful Features

  • Suggestions for common caregiving tasks

  • Add a time if you need to get something done at a specific time; choose from 15-minute increments (like 2:15pm, 2:30pm, etc.)

Who Can See Tasks?

  • Only Co-Owners can see and manage tasks

  • People with view-only access cannot see tasks (this keeps your to-do list private)

Where Tasks Work

  • On your computer or laptop

  • On your phone (iPhone or Android)

  • On your tablet

What's Coming Later

We're already working on new features based on caregiver feedback:

  • Reminders and notifications

  • Smart tasks generated from audio recordings

  • Recurring tasks (for things you do daily, weekly, etc.)

  • Assigning tasks and ability for viewers to see tasks

Getting Started

Tasks is already available in Innerhive! Just open Calendar and then open the "Tasks" tab to start adding what you need to do. There's nothing to download or set up - it's ready to use right now.
